The University of Cyprus announced on Wednesday that it has signed a partnership agreement with the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI).

The partnership will encompass cooperation in the fields of shipping and maritime research, technological development and innovation.
 
The agreement was signed by the Rector of the University of Cyprus Tasos Christofides, Larnaca mayor Andreas Vyras, and CMMI Chief Executive Officer Zacharias Siokouros.
