Go inside the church and be impressed by the preserved paintings on the walls. Being a small village, Letymbou has only one taverna, four coffee shops and one small minimarket. In the village square there is an olive press, a restored fountain and the Heroes Monument, adding to the flavour of the village. The now disused quarry at Letymbou used to produce marble slabs for the floors of the traditional houses. The nearest school serving Letymbou is in Polemi and the nearest police station is in Stroumpi. The closest hospital is in Paphos but a local doctor does make a weekly visit to the village. You can’t see the sea from Letymbou but there are superb mountain views. The nearest fishing spot is at Evretou Dam and the nearest golf course is at Tsada.
