The government has taken up the idea of sustainable urban mobility plans (SUMP) and is launching a competition also for Larnaca – the island’s third biggest city, Philenews reported on Wednesday.
The purpose of the competition is to develop and provide an SUMP for coastal Larnaca up until 2030 on the basis of internationally adopted principles.
The vision includes the administrative urban boundaries of Larnaca Municipality plus those of Aradipou, Livadia, Dromolaxia-Meneou, Oroklini, Pyla, Kalo Horio, Kiti and Pervolia.
