The government is determined to continue its serious and responsible policy on the economy, said on Wednesday Cyprus' Deputy Government Spokesman Panayiotis Sentonas.
According to a statement by the Presidency, Sentonas who was speaking to journalists said that "it is obvious that the economy is continuing to grow and we are also replenishing what citizens have lost during the difficult years," the CNA reports.
He added that recent figures from the Statistical Service and the European Commission for Cyprus confirm that growth remains steadily high at 3.2%, and will continue to be strong for the next few years, with a slight decline.
