The rapidly growing town of Larnaca’s decision to become involved in the island’s ferry service to Greece was a strategic one. The Larnaca-Piraeus / Limassol-Piraeus combination this summer is expected to give further impetus to the line, which has been described as one of the Deputy Shipping Ministry’s biggest success stories of 2022.
Speaking to InBusinessNews, the General Manager of Kition Ocean Port, Paris Dimitriou, said: “We are preparing the entire infrastructure to host the new service. It is something the port, and I think the town of Larnaca, needed. We will provide all the necessary services in order to offer an additional alternative.”
