The Touristic Development and Propagation Company of Paphos Region (ETAP) is particularly keen to welcome Ryanair's decision to extend its winter program to Pafos International Airport and continue several regular flights on a year-round basis.

Particularly excellent developments in Ryanair's decision are the routes connecting Pafos with Ireland, Tel-Aviv, UK airports, Amman, Krakow, Bratislava (Vienna) and the Baltic Sea, which are strategically important and upgraded the destination Paphos and Paphos International Airport.

This development is of exceptional and strategic importance for Paphos and Cyprus in general since Ryanair's decision is expected to give significant impetus to the economy and further development of the various sections of tourism. Winter trips are expected to contribute decisively to the development of specialized forms of tourism such as sports tourism, golf, countryside, etc.,

Also some of the routes serve indirectly and other very important markets such as Bratislava airport Austria, airports in the Baltic, Scandinavian markets as well as Amman, the Arab countries etc.
Paphos ETA is very happy that Ryanair continues its developmental pathway in Cyprus based on Paphos evolution which sends a loud message about the future prospects of Paphos destination.

Tourist Paphos has already entered a new orbit and closer to the goal of restoring the destination on a year-round basis, enriching the mix of visitors and the various departments it serves. It is now up to us all to help not only to ensure the success of existing and new routes but also to further develop the air link on a one-year basis.
