The promotion of Paphos at a number of events in the Baltics has been hailed a success by participating authorities.
Hoteliers from Paphos along with representative of the Paphos regional board of tourism have returned to the town after participating in a series of presentations and workshops in the Baltic.
These took place in Vilnius in Lithuania, Riga in Latvia and Tallinn in Estonia.
A spokesman said: “More than 13 hotel units from Paphos and well over 120 tourist agents from the Baltics participated and their interest in Paphos was very warm and substantial,” he said.
The move is part of a wider campaign that aims to establish Paphos as a year-round destination for tourists from the Baltic area, particularly as Ryanair announced new flights connecting this area for winter 2018.
