President Nicos Anastasiades spoke of the long term relations between Cyprus and Russia that have proved resistant to challenges during an opening address at the 13th Cyprus-Russian festival in Limassol on Saturday night.
He said through the festival the two countries share their rich culture and traditions, celebrating their friendship and honouring their bonds.
As is well known, the president said Cyprus and Russie have a historic relationship characterized by deep friendship and co-operation between the two populations, which “we deeply value” in sectors including the economy, investment, tourism and trade.
