Permission granted for Epiphany service in Famagusta

The religious holiday of Epiphany will be celebrated in Famagusta in the north this Sunday, January 6, for just the fourth time since 1974.

The celebrations to mark the day are being organised by the Bishopric of Famagusta and Constantia, the ‘Ammochostos, our city’ initiative and the Famagusta municipality.

Buses will transport the faithful to Famagusta to attend the liturgy held at the church of Ayios Georgios Exorinos, between 7.30 am and 10.30am.
