Eight Cyprus Projects Nominated for the EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture

Eight projects in Cyprus have been chosen among the nominees for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2019.

The award is a prize given biennially by the European Union and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, Barcelona, to acknowledge and reward quality architectural production in Europe. The Prize objectives aim at promoting and understanding the significance of quality and reflecting the complexity of Architecture's own significance in terms of technological, constructional, social, economic, cultural and aesthetic achievements.
