The Economic and Competitiveness Council (ECOMPET) has expedited certain actions of its strategy for Cyprus’ long-term growth model in a bid to utilise grants of the EU’s pandemic Resilience and Recovery Facility, the Council’s Chairman Takis Clerides has said.
Clerides was speaking on Thursday after a meeting with ruling party Democratic Rally President Averof Neofytou, in the context of a second round of contacts with political parties and stake-holders over the Council's study concerning Cyprus' future economic growth model.
Clerides called the strategic study as “the vision for 2035” as “this strategy will create Cyprus’ new economic model for the next ten to fifteen years.”
