Cyprus wins four medals at European Games

Cypriot athletes have produced impressive performances at the 3rd European Games in Poland, winning two silver medals and two bronze.
Acording to Andreas Andreou, an emissary of the Union of Sportswriters of Cyprus, 19-year-old Irini Kontou won a bronze in karate. Kyriaki Kouttoukis then quickly earned Cyprus’ next medal – a bronze in taekwondo. The streak of success continued as two track and field athletes, Milan Trajkovic and Olivia Fotopolou, won silver medals in B category races.
