Anastasiades marks World Animal Day with presidential pets

President Nicos Anastasiades spending time with his two dogs. The photo was posted on the president’s official Facebook profile to mark World Animal Day, observed on October 4.
Anastasiades reiterated in his message to mark the day that animal welfare and protection was among the priorities of his administration. Both state and society, he said, ought to show animals the respect they deserve.
